Exploring Best Practices for 21st Century Teaching
and Learning with 1:1 Programs
Do you want to explore the above topics? Workshop participants will discover how integrating these applications and practices into classroom instruction will help build relationships with students, and help achieve academic goals. One-to-one options, such as Chromebooks and Netbooks, will be reviewed and the advantages and disadvantages of each will be identi"ied. Participants will also focus on Internet based programs, such as Google Docs, Google Presentations, and Google Apps, as well as many other online resources. Student tested activities, projects and assessments that can be used immediately in your classroom will be shared. Finally, participants will explore PLN’s
(Personal Learning Networks) and discuss how you can create your own network of educators interested in technology and best practices in education today.
Chromebooks and Netbooks will be available for exploraon.
Please bring a laptop/tablet if possible to access the class web site
and invesgate independently.
Please set up a Google account prior to class if you don’t already have one.
