3Q Digital Appoints Craig Weinberg as New Vice President of Mobile Strategy

San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) February 03, 2015

3Q Digital, a fully integrated digital marketing agency based in Silicon Valley, today announced that it has hired Craig Weinberg to be the agencys new Vice President of Mobile Strategy. Weinberg will assume the lead role in creating and building 3Q Digitals mobile practice as well as spearheading the strategy and mobile campaign execution on behalf of the agencys clients. Weinberg, who is based in New York City, will also help build the agencys footprint in major East Coast markets.

Weinberg brings a depth of end-to-end mobile marketing strategy creation/execution and business development experience to 3Q Digital, having created and executed successful mobile marketing initiatives on both the agency and brand side. Most recently, Weinberg was the Director of Mobile, Mobile Practice Lead at Mindshare, where he led strategic planning and delivery of mobile marketing and media buying across Mindshare’s North American client portfolio including American Express, BP/ampm, Dominos, Land Rover, and CVS.

We interviewed dozens of potential candidates for this position, and no one came close to Craig in terms of knowledge, industry experience, proven expertise, and passion for the space. He is going to be a tremendous asset for our clients and our agency, said David Rodnitzky, CEO and Co-Founder, 3Q Digital. Craig and his team will ensure that our clients’ approach to mobile is best-of-breed. Mobile marketing isn’t just about media buying anymore; it’s now a far more complex process that requires a deep understanding of the app ecosystem, usability, tracking, and publishers, which Craig brings by the boatload.

Previously, Weinberg served as Mobile Strategy Lead on the P&G account at MediaVest, where he oversaw the mobile communications strategy and provided direction on holistic mobile and digital communications integration to maximize North American mobile investments for P&G. Prior to MediaVest, he held senior executive positions at Sony Music Entertainment, where he was responsible for mobile sales, distribution, and marketing of Sony’s Music’s mobile content catalog.

A frequent speaker at key industry events and in the media, Weinberg sits on the IAB Mobile Marketplace Advisory Board and he is an advisor to numerous New York City-based mobile, ad-tech and non-profit digital startups. He holds a bachelors from Columbia University.

I joined 3Q Digital for two reasons. One, their culture is second to none, and I wanted to be a part of their family. Two, 3Q Digitals mobile potential is among the strongest Ive ever seen. Weinberg said. The combination of their best-of-breed clients, their technology, and, most importantly, their openness to explore all areas of mobile innovation, have all really positioned 3Q Digital to be a force in pushing mobile forward for their clients and for the industry.
