This is your reminder that we will be having our monthly Chapter meeting on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6th at ROTHCHILD"S.

This month's featured speaker:

 Dr. Jayesh Doshi –  Nanofiber-based products for Filtration efficiency and Indoor Air Quality

 Dr. Jayesh Doshi is the founder of eSpin Technologies, Inc., an award winning nanotechnology company based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Under Dr. Doshi's leadership eSpin has become a technology leader in nanofiber research, development and manufacturing.  eSpin’s successfully commercialized nanofiber-based products already include air filters, wipes, and face masks.  Carbon nanofiber is currently being commercialized by eSpin and is scheduled to be in production first quarter of 2013.  Other eSpin nanofiber research projects include tissue regeneration for healthcare and water filtering media.

 Dr. Doshi’s presentation will cover nanofiber technology advances in general and energy saving nanofiber air filtering specifically.  The special test equipment required to work with nano technology and measure the performance of energy saving air filters will also be discussed.

 Prior to founding eSpin Dr. Doshi worked as scientist at the DuPont Company.   Dr. Doshi has a masters degree in physics and earned his doctoral education in polymer science from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
