The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded AIAG the prestigious Authorized Provider status. IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The recognition period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time.
AIAG is proud of our education programs which train thousands of supply chain professionals each year in important topics such as quality management systems, problem solving and error proofing, warranty management, and logistics and materials management, stated Stacy Ward, product manager, training and certification. We are pleased to welcome AIAG as a continued Authorized Provider organization, stated Karen Niles, President of IACET and Director of Professional Development at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in Rockville, MD. Niles added, AIAG joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met.
Amongst the numerous courses offered, AIAG covers extensively the ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025 and AS9100 standards and the special process assessments for production parts undergoing heat treatment, coating, plating, soldering and welding which are global benchmarks in providing requirements for quality management and enhancing customer satisfaction a virtual must-have for any industry. The in-depth courses provide the skills and tools necessary to become successful lead and/or internal auditors.
In order to achieve Authorized Provider status, AIAG completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs. AIAG has pledged its continued compliance with the Standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Authorized Provider logo on promotional course material. In addition, AIAG is now linked to the IACET web site and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.
