Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen will be performing at the Abraham Chavez Theatre on Tuesday May 28 for one night only!
Lovett has recorded thirteen albums and released 21 singles to date, including the number 10 chart hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Cowboy Man”. Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album. It’s Not Big It’s Large was released in 2007, where it debuted and peaked at number 2 on the Top Country Albums chart. A studio album, Natural Forces, was released on October 20, 2009 by Lost Highway Records.
Houston native Keen has recorded 18 full-length albums and has seen his songs covered by George Strait, Lovett, and the Dixie Chicks. His albums and live performances span many different styles, from folk, country, and bluegrass to rock, but he is most commonly affiliated with the Americana movements. Keen has long been recognized as one of the Lone Star State’s most popular musical ambassadors, leading to his induction into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 along with Lovett and the late Townes Van Zandt.
