An Overview of Federal SBIR/STTR Funding through DoD
Event on 2013-02-13 09:00:00

This half-day class helps technology entrepreneurs and businesses assess their eligibility to receive R&D funding through the government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Through these programs, 11 federal agencies make over billion in high-risk, non-dilutive capital available to innovative small companies annually with the Department of Defense having the largest set aside.

Attendees will learn SBIR/STTR program basics, including: program purpose, eligibility, sources of funding and tools for proposal development with emphasis on the unique features of the Dept. of Defense program. It is designed to provide enough information for attendees to determine if they would like to seriously pursue a grant or contract proposal.

Optional: Afternoon One-on-One Meetings, 1-3 PM
Sign up for one of eight 15-minute sessions to discuss your project or learn more about the SBIR/STTR program. Contact Jayne Berkaw to schedule a meeting:
