Phil takes a quick look at the new lockscreen widgets in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Full take at www.androidcentral.com
why is that exactly apple fanboy?
is it samsung android or not?
100 Widgets and 1000 bugs on Android… Dont make sense. The best function in Android 4: “reboot”
So being able to check the weather with a quick look, kill all open apps from a single touch, getting to a bookmarked web page, checking facebook/twitter without even opening them, seeing your calendar, and several other functions to make life EASIER and more SIMPLE is for nerds? Play with your iphone and stay out of traffic man, have a good one.
I thought a lock screen there was there for a reason… you unlock the phone to use it, and not have 20 pages of stupid widgets that you should use when you unlock the phone, not on a lock screen!
iPhone THE BEST!!!! STUPID functions like Widgets, face recognition… Its for NERDS AND FUCKING AND STUPID GEEKS… DEVICE MUST BE SIMPLE AND FAST, THATS ALL STUPID NERD.
Explain how. You mean the phone you hook up to your computer and it only recognizes video and picture and not the actual file system. You must be talking about the phone whose launcher up grade is simply a another row of icons, Oh you talking about the phone that promotes panaroma as if its ground breaking technology. The same phone whose notification and status bar is on a near equal level as 4 android updates ago.I think you’re going to take repeated L’s trying to defend such an accusation.
“which is supposed to” there you have it. Why should a lockscreen only ask you for your passcode/whatever? Why not move on, try something new/different? It’s people like you who block innovation.
fuck you !! . .. you and your fucking iphone!!
iPhone officially sucks
agreed! especially the ICS wallpaper it looked really bad&the colors on it…dont get me started on them..
/whatever…wouldn’t it mean that whatever can be extra stuff? so you may not find the calendar useful, but think of other widgets you may have like Falcon for Twitter or a notes/to-do widget that you’ll be able to access quickly, to me the camera thing is like io’s swipe up action on the lockscreen
It comes up smaller because it brings the lock up… You a supposed to be able to unlock the phone from any widget screen and when you add it it just has the lock up…
On the Galaxy Nexus it takes a whole second for the screen to turn back on when pressing the lock button!
Maybe for you but not for me
