The number of prospective renters calling or emailing apartment properties on Apartment Guide increased by more than 22% year over year, comparing February 2014 to February 2013, according to Apartment Guide internal data. Properties listed on Apartment Guide received an average of 67 qualified leads each in the month, which is a record for the month of February, typically a relatively slow period for renters looking to move. Apartment Guide defines qualified leads as connected calls or email inquiries from a prospective renter to the community.

A large portion of the increase can be attributed to consumers transitioning to mobile search. Across all Apartment Guide apps and those searching for an apartment on their mobile devices via the mobile web, Apartment Guide increased leads to properties by 65% in February 2014 compared with February 2013.
