Chris Westmeyer, targeted marketing and strategic search specialist, will discuss current digital marketing trends at the next Tri-State Advertising & Marketing Professionals meeting.

Westmeyer is the principal and strategic lead for Digital Strike, an agency specializing in online targeted marketing, and works closely with Element 74 on digital marketing strategies. His presentation will clarify search engine optimization (SEO) and why it matters, general SEO strategy and feature a special emphasis on organic SEO. He will also discuss current trends and challenges in the industry. 

Westmeyer has 20 years of marketing experience for companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Abbott Laboratories, Unilever, Sprint, Land Rover/Jaguar, Texas Instruments and many others. Prior to founding Digital Strike, he worked for WWP/Mindshare/Outrider, a leading global strategic media buying agency, where he sat on both the Google and Microsoft Search Customer Advisory Councils, representing client interests and helping guide the future of search.
