Ashton Kutcher’s Steve Jobs Biopic Gets Release Date – Click to Subscribe! – Become a Fan! – Follow Us! Ashton Kutcher found a new jOB and we have all the details. Steve Jobs is hitting the big screen in the independent biopic jOBS starring Ashton Kutcher as one of the most creative entrepreneurs of our generation. Open Road Films and Five Star Feature Films made the announcement today as they teamed up for the movie, which was directed by Joshua Michael Stern. Those heading to Sundance will get a first look at jOBS as the film will make its premiere on the final night of the festival. According to the film’s description, the movie will chronicle “the defining 30 years” of Jobs’ life, detailing the major moments and characters that influenced Jobs from 1971 through 2000. The movie will be released in April. This isn’t the only Steve Jobs movie, the other film titled “Steve Jobs” is based on Job’s official biography written by Walter Isaacson that was released last year. Sony Pictures is in charge of that one and Aaron Sorkin, who wrote Moneyball, The Social Network and A Few Good Men is penning the screenplay. It was only a matter of time before we’d see a Steve Jobs biopic, what are your thoughts? I’m personally not a fan of Ashton Kutcher but the picture of him as Jobs is pretty eerie. Let us know your thoughts below. I’m Aja Dang for Clevver Movies, see ya.

  15. RonJammin says:

I think Kutcher will do a great Job (<– get it?!). He gave surprisingly good performances in “The Butterfly Effect” & “The Guardian,” which were more serious-toned films. But I too hope that they portray Jobs correctly, not show him as a hero but as a perfection-seeking business hound who cares more about products & sales than people’s feelings. A revolutionary, an idea man.

  16. Nicolas R says:

Stay as Steve Jobs let Charlie Sheen take your place in Two And A Half Men.
