Internationally Acclaimed Comedian Bill Burr Performs Week of Shows at The Wilbur in Boston, MA

(BOSTON, MA) – [January 5th, 2015] – This May 2015 comedian Bill Burr will bring his internationally acclaimed act to The Wilbur in Boston’s historic Theatre District. The Boston-bred talent will headline “Bill Burr- Wilbur Week,” performing an astounding seven shows over the course of one week, all of which are expected to sell out.

Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation, achieving success in TV and film as well as the live stage. A recipient of the “Comedian of the Year Award” from the Boston Comedy Festival, Burr is a regular with Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon, he sells out theaters internationally, and his Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts on iTunes. On December 5, Burr premiered his fourth hour-long special, I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, on Netflix and on September 30, 2014 Burr released the vinyl album, Live At Andrew’s House, a recording of his 2011 Carnegie Hall performance, from Third Man Records. On January 30, Burr will co-star with Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer in the film Black or White, and later in the year Burr’s animated Netflix series, F is for Family, will premiere featuring Bill, Laura Dern and Justin Long as the Murphy family.
