Building Your Personal Brand Using Content Marketing and Social Media
Event on 2012-09-20 18:15:00
You’ve heard this saying, “If you build it, they will come.”
That just isn’t true.
Doing “good stuff” isn’t enough in an attention economy. You need to fight for the world’s most precious resource: people’s time and attention. You need to get people to care about what you’ve done. You must create the conversations you want people to have about your personal brand.
Personal branding is critical for your personal success. It doesn’t matter how great you are at being a business professional, an engineer, a technician, an entrepreneur, a freelancer, an artist or a writer… if the people who matter to you (e.g. your manager or client) don’t know or care about what you’ve done – you’re not going to get the promotion, the raise, the contract, or the audience that you rightfully deserve.
In this seminar, Trevor Young from Edelman, the world’s #1 PR firm, will explain how you can use content marketing and social media to build your personal brand, increase your profile as an expert and make yourself standout in the job market.

Who Is This Seminar For?
This session will be geared towards early career professionals (i.e. those with 1-5 years of professional experience).
