Speed Copywriting Workshop Set to Maximize Learning Using Innovative Mind-Boosting Technique

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 21, 2006

When you come home from a seminar, you hope to be buzzing with excitement. Even more, you hope that youll be able to quickly access skills and information you gained to make your business — and your life — better than before. Thats why you choose to make an investment in your own learning. Wouldnt it be great to come home sure you soaked in the maximum amount of useful information? That the return on that seminar investment was as high as possible?

Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero thinks so. Thats why this copywriting master has added a new, groundbreaking, brain-boosting special element to her upcoming Speed Copywriting Workshop in stunning Redondo Beach, California, from September 14-16, 2006. Research shows that 87% of the North American population are visual thinkers, says Morgan-Ferrero, I know I am! So, I wanted to tap into that power to give the people at my workshop the fastest, most effective learning possible.

With a decade of experience and a client roster including the BBC, HP, Readers Digest and eBay, Christina Merkley may be the only person you know who is thrilled to spend most of her life in meetings. She joined forces with Morgan-Ferrero after completing the last Speed Copywriting Workshop. Every attendee will get the benefit of this highly refined and effective technique, as Merkley creates real-time visual summary notes while Morgan-Ferrero and her top-notch roster of guest speakers (including hypnotherapist and marketer Wendi Friesen, GoogleAdWords guru Perry Marshall, infoproduct expert James Roche, direct mail master Mitch Carson and, best-selling author Michael Port) spill their secrets.

Speaking of secrets, Red Hot Copy has convinced John Carlton, one of the marketing worlds most reclusive superstars to offer a very rare one-day event the day before the Speed Copywriting Workshop begins. Carlton, an industry veteran renowned for teaching million-dollar copywriting tricks, has only done three live events in his career, and theyve all been sellouts. The ideas will flow fast and furious, and, here too, visual facilitation will be used to capture them all and help everyone connect the dots. Definitely a bonus when one considers that we generally retain around 65% of what we see, but just 15% of what we hear. This Speed Copywriting Workshop is packed with powerful, practical, proven learning designed to put everyone who experiences it on the fast track to results.

OpenAmplify’s New Version 3.0 API Boosts Sentiment Analysis with a Signal that Answers “Why”

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2013

OpenAmplify, a leader in big data Text Analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions, announced today the release of its Version 3.0 API. The company unveiled new features that advance the automatic understanding of social conversations. Building on its strength in topic-level sentiment analysis and leveraging multi-patented NLP technology, OpenAmplify Version 3.0 has a new signal that tells you why social customers feel positive or negative about a brand. This is among many features released today that further OpenAmplifys commitment to be the top provider of conversation analysis solutions for social media professionals.

Engagement is king for social enterprises, said Mark Redgrave, Co-Founder and CEO of OpenAmplify. The key to effective customer engagement is to better understand what drives the social customer. Knowing which brands are relevant and which ones drive positive or negative sentiment is essential. But knowing precisely what features and attributes drive that sentiment the things that actually make them love your brand or product now thats the exciting leap forward weve achieved in this latest version.

Generally available today, OpenAmplify Version 3.0 incorporates a range of enhancements to improve both analysis quality and service utility, including:

Topic Descriptions Signal – Exposes how topics are described in conversations and comments across social channels. Surfacing the descriptors and adjectives attached to topics and sentiment helps to answer why they love your brand. For example, a positively regarded topic phone might have references to cool or dependable. Topic Descriptions allows marketers to check for alignment between their brand messaging and the unvarnished voice of the social customer. For product developers, it can be a tool for discovering which product features and attributes are missing the mark and driving negativity.

Co-Reference: It OpenAmplify has been the pioneer in linking multiple sentences via pronouns, without which sentiment and other signals cannot be as accurate. Version 3.0 cracks the linguistic challenge of linking the pronoun it to the correct topic. Unlike the pronouns she and he, it is notoriously difficult to properly associate with a topic. For example, I went to a new restaurant. It was great versus It was raining. Being able to properly link it improves accuracy in weighting of topics across millions of conversations.

Other social-grade improvements – spanning four areas: 1) the range/depth of the analysis; 2) the quality/precision of the analysis, 3) speed of processing and 4) The ability of production systems to aggressively scale to meet demand. Full documentation is available at http://www.openamplify.com.

We believe focusing on the topic is the only truly useful way to approach sentiment analysis, said Michael Petit, Co-Founder and CIO of OpenAmplify. The new Topic Descriptions Signal wraps market leading sentiment analysis with all the rich color our clients need to see clearly what is actually driving peoples opinions. This is NLP in HD and Im proud of our team who continue to define the state of the art.

LiveCode Adopted by More than 25% of High Schools in Scotland

Edinburgh, Scotland (PRWEB UK) 20 February 2013

RunRev today announced that North Lanarkshire Council has selected LiveCode for teaching computer science across all 24 high schools in the region. Scotland’s new Curriculum for Excellence requires students to be able to design and use software tools and LiveCode was selected to meet this requirement. Deployment will take place in early 2013 and will result in more than 25% of all high schools in Scotland adopting LiveCode for computer science education. This initiative supports a drive by North Lanarkshire education authority to transform the way computer science in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum is taught in high schools by ensuring students gain a practical insight into computer studies.

Ian Sorensen, ICT Development Officer at North Lanarkshire, said, “The familiarity and comfort factor that young people have with mobile and computing devices means that any STEM computer science course has to be appealing and engaging if it is to be taught successfully. Equally, the course has to be relevant to the demands and expectations of the commercial world and the new Curriculum for Excellence. Today software and app development are increasingly a feature in many commercial activities and understanding the art of software development is an essential skill for any high school student to learn. I asked the computer science teachers in the region what they believed to be the best STEM tool available today to teach students how to program, and they selected LiveCode. We are aware of the success many teachers and students have achieved with LiveCode and we are keen to ensure that our students are able to get fully engaged in learning the important skill of programming.”

Kevin Miller, CEO of RunRev said “At a time when the uptake of computer science in the western world is in decline it is refreshing to see Scotland leading the way to reverse this alarming trend. Schools using LiveCode have reported a doubling of uptake in STEM Computer Science. LiveCode is ideally suited for learning and teaching computer programming and logical thinking, as well as creating and distributing apps, games and utilities.”

About:
Human beings continuously mutate. Over the last few years, this transformation has taken place at incredibly high speeds, mostly thanks to the wide and ubiquitous availability of digital networks and devices.

This changed the ways in which we work, learn, relate, consume, communicate, love.

"Enlarge Your Consciousness in 4 Days 4 Free!" uses people’s real time emotional expressions on social networks to animate a physical installation.

The emotions of millions of users on social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and FourSquare are harvested in real time (using open available APIs and techniques such as Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning) and used to give life to physical manifestations and info-aesthetic visualizations.

The project is the result of a wonderful collaboration between Salvatore Iaconesi / Oriana Persico (Art is Open Source) and Lara Mezzapelle / Giacomo Deriu.

"Enlarge Your Consciousness in 4 Days 4 Free!" was officially launched at BT’F Contemporary Art Gallery Friday, January 27th 2012, as an official initiative of Arte Fiera OFF.
