The Voice alum Chris Mann will bring his North American tour to City National Grove of Anaheim on Friday, September 27.

Mann ended 2012 on a high note, hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and performing for President Obama as part of TNT’s star-studded “Christmas In Washington” special. Now he’s kicking off the new year in grand style, announcing a North American headlining tour along with his very own PBS Special, CHRIS MANN IN CONCERT: A MANN FOR ALL SEASONS (airing this March—check local listings ).

CHRIS MANN IN CONCERT: A MANN FOR ALL SEASONS sees the acclaimed vocalist singing a collection of classical-crossover favorites live in concert with two very special guests – four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and 14-time Grammy nominated Martina McBride and bestselling contemporary jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair.

In his first PBS concert, which is produced by Grammy Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich with music under the direction of Michael Bearden, Mann performs an exciting and eclectic blend of songs, ranging from “Ave Maria” to Willie Nelson’s “Always on My Mind” to Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now.” He also performs an updated version of “My Way,” re-written specifically for him by Paul Anka, as the new voice of the classic song.

With a voice rich in tone and soulfulness, Chris Mann performs each song in a way that can be appreciated by music lovers of all generations. He has the astounding capability to make timeworn standards fresh, while taking a modern pop song and performing it with classical elegance. Mann also introduces new and original music, which he co-wrote and sings with timeless musicality and passion, including “Cuore,” based on Bach’s “Air on a G String,” and the contemporary ballad, “Falling.”

Mann first captured the hearts of millions as one of the stars of the hit NBC series, The Voice. He blew everyone away with his stunning classical singing style, and landed on a team coached by Christina Aguilera, who told him, “I feel the heavens open up when you sing.” America agreed and Chris Mann became one of the breakout stars of season two.

Influenced by Pavarotti and vintage Sinatra, Mann’s blend of classically-trained tenor and contemporary pop vocals is a sound that’s rare in music today. Said Cee Lo Green, “He is by far one of the most incomparable vocalists I have ever heard.” By the time his season of The Voice ended, Mann had landed not one, but two songs on the iTunes Top 10 Pop Singles Chart. A few months later, he signed with Faircraft/Republic, a new label formed by renowned producer/music executive Ron Fair, and began recording Roads, his major label debut. That album, a bold reimagining of the classical-pop genre, hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and No. 5 on the Classical Album Chart. The aptly-titled album represents the culmination of a long and challenging journey for this gifted and dedicated young artist. In addition, Mann also recorded Home For Christmas, a holiday album exclusively for Walmart, which rocketed to No. 1 on the chain’s Best-Selling Album Chart and entered Billboard’s Classical Crossover Chart at No. 12.

Mother Earth in Toxic Shock, Fighting Back and Rebuilding What Man Has Destroyed in New Fiction

St Louis, Mo. (PRWEB) June 07, 2013

Joseph Frail publishes a wakeup call in Mother Earths Revenge: Unexpected Consequences.

The year 2025, Mother Earth is dying. Wars in the Middle East have destroyed the innocent children. Giant oil corporations decline to comment only saying that without oil, life itself would be impossible. A Black market in Rain forest extinction items, Using killer earthquakes to correct mans issue with ego and pyramids drawing on energy from a thousand suns to change the essence of mans Character, these major catastrophes haunt humanity in author Joseph Frails newly published fiction, titled Mother Earths Revenge: Unexpected Consequences.

Mother Earth having been abused for so long is in a state of toxic shock. With her bounty, her natural beauty and her children being devoured by huge corporate conglomerates, followed by rogue and maverick nations, she unleashes her anger on those who refuse to live in unity of mankind. As she does with her place in the universe more deeply established, she purges herself of the demonstrative ego of man and regains control through the unity she has brought to her childrenin ways only Mother Earth can know.

Frails book was written largely, as an ecological idea, and as a release from the overwhelming grip that these tragedies can have on everyone as people of earth. While the moral of the story is clearfor humanity to find a way to save the planetFrail hopes that the message that it brings and the story that it tells will be interesting to readers and can be used to stimulate the mind and bring images, thoughts and ideas together for readers to enjoy and tell again.

Though-provoking and apocalyptic, Mother Earths Revenge: Unexpected Consequences is a controversially appealing take on the year 2025 and the deplorable state of the world brought about by powerful corporations and institutions. Frail creatively evokes the power of fiction to deliver a wakeup call to mankind which takes Edmund Burkes words to heart: The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

JMR Graphics, Nationwide Car Wraps Manufacturer, Comments on Fake Outdoor Advertising Campaign

Central Islip, NY (PRWEB) May 31, 2013

JMR Graphics, a nationwide car wraps manufacturer, comments on an article that reveals the results of a fake advertising campaign, called RushmoreVote, by the Outdoor Advertising Association.

According to the Associations Now article published on May 28th, 2013, the campaign asked people to choose who they would like to be the next addition to Mount Rushmore Barack Obama, George W. Bush or no one. The purpose of the fake campaign was to test the value of out-of-home advertisements in driving social and mobile activity. After being shrouded in mystery, the Outdoor Advertising Assoication of America reveals its intentions in a email to the Enquirer, according to an older report by USA Today. Now, the results have been revealed.

Advertisements could be found in 164 locations throughout San Antonio, Cincinnati, Phoenix and Sacremento. The billboards and ads on bus shelters told readers to go online and vote. Out of the 15,679 unique users who voted on the issue, two-thirds came from outside of the metro areas where the ads were placed. The subject of the campaign was purposely unrelated to a specific product or the advertising association. The goal was to prove the relationship between out-of-home advertising and social media campaigns.

This relatively small OOH campaign drove online traffic from across the country, says OAAA President and CEO Nancy Fletcher. Even those who learned about the campaign online were aware it originated on OOH ads, painting a clear picture of the mediums role in todays evolving interactive landscape.

Representative TJ Pannell of JMR Graphics believes that outdoor advertising will remain a powerful force in the advertising industry. This experiment shows that out-of-home advertising and Internet marketing go hand-in-hand, he says. If a consumer sees an advertisement on a billboard or from a truck wrap, it sticks in their mind, and then social media is a great way to learn more or communicate with others. Companies should definitely have a component of out-of-home advertising as part of their social advertising program.

SIA Releases Cloud and Mobility White Paper

SILVER SPRING, Md (PRWEB) May 30, 2013

The Security Industry Association (SIA) Standards Committee this week announced the first deliverable of the recently formed Cloud and Mobility Working Group: an industry white paper that explores the impact of the cloud on physical security.

The paper, available as a free download from the SIA website, defines the groups vision of cloud and mobility solutions as a technology and business driver for the industry, provides clear definitions and a model reference architecture for cloud-based security applications, and outlines several cloud and mobility candidates for standardization.

Standardization candidates include a cloud security reference model, mapping of components to this model, and a common cloud session establishment framework for physical security products. Alongside this discussion of standardization subjects, the paper includes several established best practices from the information technology world that can be applied to physical security. Chaired by Steve Van Till, president and CEO of Brivo Systems, the Cloud and Mobility Working Group will take the lead on many of these proposed standardization candidates and will soon organize task forces for these activities.

Cloud services and mobility are technologies with applications in all areas of physical security, so the working group is looking for broad participation in developing cloud and mobility standards for physical security. Anyone interested in participating in the SIA Standards Cloud and Mobility Working Group is encouraged to email Joe Gittens, director of SIA Standards, at jgittens(at)siaonline(dot)org.
