CCSS Announces Changes at Benelux and Nordic Agents

Changes are afoot at two agent companies of the iSeries systems management software developer CCSS (Europe) Ltd., announced Paul Wright, International Sales. CCSS develops and markets the QSystems Management Suite of software for the IBM eServer iSeries.

Chantal van Mierlo has joined Benelux agent BSP-SYRES as Marketing and Sales Manager, reported Robert Bosch, Technical Manager. Bosch is seeing companies making more IT investments these days, and expects CCSS products to become an increasingly important share of SYRES revenue. “In the past, companies hired contractors, but as systems become more complex and there are more of them, they realize it’s better to hire their own IT staff and give them the tools they need, such as the QSystems Management Suite.” The SYRES Benelux client base includes ABN AMRO (banking), Transavia (charter airline), RICOH (printers) and Mexx (clothing). In Sweden, the principals of Scribona Platform Partner AB have formed a new company, Informatikk Sverige, selling systems software to the iSeries community at large and hardware to customers of the ERP software vendor Intentia. Informatikk is growing, having added four highly quailfied systems specialists last month to deepen its focus on systems software and related services. Jorgen Blomstervall, Manager of Partner Relations, said that Informatikk is one of IBM’s largest resellers in the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland). “We see a demand for systems management software.
