As a follow-up to its 100-Day JD Edwards Upgrade Workshops held throughout the U.S. in 2012 and early 2013, CD Group, Inc. (http://www.cdgroup.com) announced today that it will be offering similar best-practices guidelines for upgrading Oracles JD Edwards ERP systems via a new five-part webinar series entitled, The Guide to JDE Upgrades (A Road Map for Upgrading Fast and Painlessly). The series will begin at 12 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 3, and will run every other week at the same time throughout the months of May and June 2013. It will also be recorded and available upon demand on the companys website, after each of the live webinars is concluded.
This webinar series is designed for those JDE World and EnterpriseOne customers who may have wanted to attend a 100-Day Upgrade Workshop, but were unable to do so, said CD Group Vice President Don Landrum. We have built the series around the basic building blocks put together by Oracle for the workshops, and have enhanced it with some of our own tips and techniques, based upon our extensive experience with JDE upgrades.
CD Group has 20 years of experience in helping JD Edwards customers leverage best-in-class technology to meet their business objectives. It was the winner of the Oracle 2011 JD Edwards Customer Upgrade Program award, helping more JD Edwards customers upgrade than any other Oracle partner that year.
The Guide to JDE Upgrades series will kick off on May 3 with Part 1: The Who, What and Why of JDE Upgrades. The introductory webinar will review the drivers as to the key reasons for an upgrade, who should be involved and at what states, and the best timing for it. It will also introduce the topics for the following four webinars in the series, which outline the largest roadblocks to plan for and overcome in upgrading JDE and the landmines to avoid: customizations, integrations, data, testing and training. Registration is open for Part 1 of the series.
