Celtra Inc., the on-demand mobile marketing software platform, today announced the appointment of Michael Souza, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and online advertising veteran, as its new vice president of sales and general manager. Souza will lead the sales, business development and marketing departments at Celtra, reporting directly to Mihael Mikek, co-founder and CEO.

Souza comes to Celtra from Zoom Information where he was vice president of sales since 2003. Under his aggressive leadership, sales doubled in his first two years and grew by at least 40% YoY thereafter. He was a key member of an executive team that transformed ZoomInfo from a start-up to a profitable and respected company. During his tenure, ZoomInfo was honored with Selling Power Magazine’s Software Sales Organization of the Year Award, and in 2008, ZoomInfo made INC Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest growing companies. Prior to ZoomInfo, Souza had several management positions at Terra Lycos (formally Lycos, Inc.), most recently leading the international sales team.
