We’ve been leading the way on SEO since our agency’s inception and will give you and your team a foundation for SEO success in this highly informative, constructive, hands-on workshop. Note: we won’t have time to cover in-depth link building as our focus will strategically be on your on-page and content framework. Agenda: 9:00-9:30 AM – Introductions 9:30-10:30 AM – What is SEO? We’ll start at the top to define the current best practice for organic Search Engine Optimization. Often misunderstood, SEO involves far more than publishing a blog post every week. 10:30 AM – 11:30 – Auditing your existing search rankings, website traffic and conversions. First and foremost, we’ll teach you how to dissect your existing search presence. 11:30AM – Noon – Basic content, on-page optimization. We’ll dive into the basic structure of a web page and how it can be best optimized for search. Noon – 1:00 PM – Lunch 1:00-1:30PM – Keyword research. How to conduct keyword research to ensure you’re targeting the ideal terms. 1:30 – 2:30PM – Creating an editorial calendar. We’ll break out into groups to brainstorm content for our keyword-focused editorial calendar. 2:30 – 3:00 PM – Page titles and metas. We’ll write sample page title and metas for a piece of content in your editorial calendar. 3:00 – 3:45 PM – Best publishing practices. What and how to publish a new piece of content from blog post to social sharing, we’ll cover it all. 3:45 – 4:00 PM – Break 4:00 – 4:30 PM – Your website, how to audit your website for technical roadblocks to optimal search engine performance.
