Centurion Launches Version 2.0 of Leading Federal Market Analytic SaaS Tool

Centurion announced today that it released a new version of Opportunity Assessment NOW (OAN), a software as a service (SaaS) bid decision tool for federal contractors. OAN uses analytics to evaluate where contractors stand in their capture efforts on various opportunities. It takes into account 10 Factors that Influence Winning: Understanding the Problem, Customer Relationship, Competitive Landscape, Your Team, Management Capabilities, Technical Capabilities, Past Performance, Opportunity Funding, Award Tendencies, and Bid Price.

According to Gary Loyd, Centurions CEO, there was much anticipation for this new version of OAN. Throughout 2012, a product steering committee spent a great deal of time listening to its clients, interfacing with industry experts, and working with its developers to create a more sophisticated and more accurate assessment tool. Altogether, the team improved OANs assessment questions, answer choices, branching algorithm, weighting scenarios, and color indicator thresholds. One other major enhancement which was included in this release is Centurions Probability of Win (Pwin) calculation. The Pwin estimate collects all data points from a particular assessment and then aggregates results into a percentage which is based on the assessment type (i.e. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, Best Value).
