Cinsay had instituted litigation against Brightcove in September 2013, alleging infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 8,312,486, 8,533,753, and 8,549,555, directed to interactive marketing and advertising videos. The suit, Cinsay Inc. v. Joyus Inc. and Brightcove Inc., Case No. 3:13-CV-03628-L, was filed on September 10, 2013.
