Comedians Mark Malkoff and Vanessa Hollingshead to Appear at PR News Platinum PR Awards Luncheon in NYC

Comedian and filmmaker Mark Malkoff will be emceeing PR News Sept. 14 Platinum PR Awards Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. The highly anticipated annual awards event celebrates the best PR campaigns of the past year.

Malkoff has established himself as a filmmaker who takes brands on unexpected comedic journeys. He starred in a popular video in which he visited and consumed products at all 171 Starbucks locations in Manhattan in less than 24 hours. He also achieved worldwide media attention for his video series in which he lived and slept in an IKEA store in Paramus, N.J. Malkoff has been featured on the Today show, Good Morning America, CBS Early Show and Anderson Cooper 360, among other shows.

Joining Mark Malkoff on the entertainment slate will be stand-up comedian Vanessa Hollingshead, who has headlined the top comedy clubs in New York and has been featured on Showtime, Comedy Central, NBC’s Louie Anderson Comedy Showcase, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Dateline and VH1s Lords of the Revolution, among others. Holllingshead recently taped a special for Showtime and will be acting in the upcoming feature film Dark Halls.

As the days keynoter, Charles Duhigg, author of the best-selling The Power of Habit, will add some gravity to the levity at PR News Platinum PR Awards luncheon on Sept. 14.
