Consciousness Beyond Life

The author is a Dutch cardiologist who decided that his medical training could not account for near-death experiences and that patients reporting them were not hallucinating. His book is probably welcomed by those who have had near-death experiences and rejected or ignored by most medical doctors who would lose their research funding and other privileges if they openly agreed with this author.
(One reason that all three pages here show the same page number is that I have this Nook book on my iPad set for fairly large print, which spreads out the same numbered page into several pages. It would all probably fit entirely on one page if I set the print small enough.)
This is my most recent e-book download, which I just started reading. I learned about the author and this book from a YouTube interview: m.youtube.com/watch?feature=related&v=GzLAvMAkx2s
