Brandon Anderson established his own company, Brandon’s Safety Lights, in July 2001, as a suggestion from his father. In fact, the inspiration for the development of his business was derived from his dad’s success as a distributor of Collt barricade lights, which he sold to various construction companies nationwide.
Anderson started out with the distribution Collt barricade lights, but soon expanded his inventory to encompass an all-inclusive selection of cautionary construction supplies. Then, in July 2008 he created an online counterpart to his business with the launch of http://www.Trans-Supply.com.
Here, online shoppers – mainly construction companies, municipalities and other distributors – can browse through an extensive variety of cautionary construction supplies for highway construction sites. Solar barricade lights, drums and channelizers, delineator posts and tubes and ultra panels, sand bags, speed bumps, marking paint and apparel are just the beginning of Anderson’s inventory list.
Railroad and airport construction supplies will also be provided and are currently being uploaded to his Web site. Plus, a collection of general traffic safety supplies are also available.
Additionally, Anderson plans to once again expand his product line to include construction equipment that’s not on the cautionary side, but used by the workers. Items such as power tools, wrenches and hard hats are just on the horizon.
To learn more about the current and soon-to-be-added products available on his Web site, shoppers are encouraged to visit the site’s newly formulated blog. This interactive tool, http://www.TrafficSafetyBlog.com, will also be used to provide information on the differences between the various lights he offers and the different state requirements for channelizers; answers to many frequently-asked questions about road construction will also be provided.
