Converse Rubber Tracks Live
CONVERSE Inc. announces Converse Rubber Tracks Live Boston, a free, five-day multi-genre concert series kicking off in Boston on Monday, April 27 at The Sinclair. In celebration of the highly anticipated opening of Converse’s global world headquarters in Boston’s Lovejoy Wharf, this special Converse Rubber Tracks Live Boston concert series will take over the city for the very first time. Featured performers include acclaimed international artists The Replacements, Passion Pit, Slayer, Chance the Rapper, Descendents, Dinosaur Jr., Baths, Doomriders, Action Bronson, and King Tuff, as well as five Boston-based acts who have all recorded at a Converse Rubber Tracks recording studio.
“In anticipation of Converse’s momentous move from North Andover to Boston, we wanted to bring our Converse Rubber Tracks music platform to the city in the most incredible way possible,” said Jed Lewis, Converse Global Music Marketing Director. “The city of Boston has always supported us and this free, five-day concert series featuring local artists is our way of showing our gratitude and appreciation to the residents who continue to embrace Converse as part of the community.”
Converse Rubber Tracks Live Boston is the on-stage extension of the Converse Rubber Tracks program and will feature five nights of varying music genres. Giving local fans the opportunity to see performances from some of the biggest names in rock, metal, hip hop, electronic, and more, the concert series will also feature local hometown favorites – all of whom have been a part of the Converse Rubber Tracks program – as the opening act.
