Cultivating Conversations Fall 2014 Luncheon Series
Event on 2014-09-05 12:30:00
Cultivating Conversation lunches are an opportunity to learn and share with Cultivation Center staff and other business, social enterprise and nonprofit leaders. This fall we are taking this casual community lunch hour to the next level by offering a 3-lunch series featuring facilitated dialogue. Prior to each lunch participants will be asked to view a relevant TED-style video and read one to two articles to help make our conversation more relevant and richer.
Friday, 9/5– September's kick-off conversation will focus on Work-Life Fit. Finding the right blend of work and personal life is critical for small business owners, social enterprise founders, non-profit directors and anyone who has built their livelihood upon their passion. During September's lunch participants will be asked to identify and share a couple scenarios where their work life fit seem to rub and other places where they have found alignment. Some people might call this "balance" but we call it "life." We look forward to hearing how you fit your personal and professional worlds together.
Friday, 10/3– In October we will tackle the ever changing challenge that Social Media Marketing presents to the small business and non-profit community. Need we say more? But seriously, participants will examine which social media channels are essential to their online presence and which can be ignored. We can't – and shouldn't – be everywhere. We will also discuss maintaining a clear message on behalf of your community minded business amidst the noise of the digital world.
Friday, 11/7– November is a great time to start talking about Strategic Planning. We know that the impending holiday season can be a harried time for many business and non-profit leaders who are in the throes of year-end sales goals and fund raising campaigns. However, it is also a time when we begin to plant seeds for the coming year. Participants will be urged to reserve time on their calendars for strategic planning and will receive a template for building a customized dashboard to track their strategic goals.
All luncheons will take place in the private Caffe space at Pizzeria Locale. Brought to you by the creators of Frasca Food and Wine, Pizzeria Locale is a contemporary pizzeria inspired by the traditional pizzerias of Naples, Italy. Menus will vary at each gathering and delicious gluten-free/dairy free options are available upon request.
Seating is limited to 10 people to ensure best-quality conversation. Invite a friend before our table sells out.
Total cost = .33/per lunch (Lunch .00, total cost includes tax, gratuity & fees)
