A Dell Canada BYOD Forum
Date: Tuesday, March 19, 2013
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a major technology trend in Education. Dell Canada has organized a BYOD Forum and we are pleased to invite you to participate in this event!
One objective of this event is to provide Education IT Professionals with an opportunity to share their successes, best practices, lessons learned, concerns / challenges and barriers related to BYOD models that they have implemented, are planning on implementing or investigating.
We will articulate Dell's point of view on BYOD in Education and position some of our solutions that are ideally suited to assist our Education customers in addressing their BYOD requirements. Dell technical experts will conduct BYOD relevant presentations on security, enterprise wireless planning, application and resource provisioning and management and systems management including some highlights of Dell’s roadmap for managing diverse mobile devices. We will also highlight the significant benefits to Educational organizations of Dell’s IT Simplification and BYOD Readiness Assessment service.
During the course of the day, we will encourage discussions associated with governance-and other technical-related issues that should be considered when contemplating the implementation of a secure, effective and sustainable BYOD model.
The intended audience for this event are the individuals responsible for researching, selecting, managing and administering the enterprise IT infrastructure for the Education organization.
One lucky organization participating in the Forum will win one of our new Dell Latitude 10 Tablets running Windows 8 Professional. A draw for this amazing prize will be made at the end of the event and you must be present to win!
