  1. For those of you who are scientists, and/or science majors, please check out my new promo video on this new science search engine. I really think that this will be able to help out a lot of people. A Powerful New Search Tool Designed For Scientists And Science Majors

  2. ” our insights into the details of these relationships become ever more explicit. We can point to numerous specific features of primate genomes that are difficult to understand except as resulting from common ancestry between humans, apes, chimpanzees and other primates.”

  3. The main argument from genetics is that similarity = common ancestry, however similarity can also = a common designer. I highly recommend my video on “The Evolutionary Tree VS The Creation Orchard” but I will be making an in-depth video on the fallacy of the argument that similarity = common ancestry. Often structures that are regarded as homologous are due to completely different genes on completely different chromosomes. This defies the idea that these structures are due to common ancestry.

  4. I have heard of James Shapiro, but this is news to me. (I do not know who James Shapiro is.) BTW, if you ever want to Email me personally, my Email address is posted on my web site. I am checking out James Shapiro now, at your suggestion.

  5. Wrong, there is nothing imaginary about cognition. Calling it supernatural is your mistake, your arbitrary assertion laid out without any sort of explanation or argumentation. It doesn’t matter to me one bit what you want to call it, cognition is real and it is observable in living systems at even the most basic levels. The hang up is on your end, with your misplaced religious antagonism and complete ignorance in the theology and philosophy department.

  6. I am sorry that he is doing that to you dude. The only advice that I can give is that “turning the other cheek” was not an entirely passive way of doing things, it was also a means of asserting your equality without actually attacking the other person. I am told that it forces them to either strike you with an open right hand or a left hand. Also, giving the other person your tunic was a shame to them, not to you. It was shameful to look upon a naked body more than it was to be naked.

  7. You haven’t tried being a decent person. You HAVE tried criticizing science tht contradicts your religioius opinions, but I’ve demonstrated that you don’t understand the sciece that you complain about. And here, you have tried to present the work of Shapiro as evidence against evoltuion. As I have show, Shapir totally discredits your assertions, and confirms that the KJV version of life on Earth is garbage. Your pride won’t allow you to admit you got destroyed an that assertion. Weakling.

  8. Unlike you, I’ve actually read just about everything Shapiro has put in print. I don’t need to quote mine him, and nowhere have I ever claimed he isn’t an evolutionist. You are barking up the wrong tree, as usual.

  9. Shapiro’s work demonstrates that living systems are cognitive, and that cognition is preeminent in nature. The most fascinating part about it is that the continuity spans from the quantum level, through the molecular, up into the level of higher order physical properties. You don’t understand what that means, and that lack of understanding leaves with withing nothing intellectual to say.

  10. Your damage control style rhetoric in favor of methodological naturalism is completely irrelevant to the point. The point is that cognition is fundamental, and at some level completely unified, in terms of the function of the universe. We used to think life was just complex chemistry until we figured out that it is all about information processing. A living system is a unified entity that when perturbed intelligently adapts in order to sustain itself and further its own experience. Think on it.

  11. His work is some of the best evidence that cells are intelligent, cognitive entities. He is also working on experiments that should show how cells themselves manipulate their own genetic circuitry. Yep, kind of blows the Darwinian framework right out of the water.

  12. REal cogent argument. You just got your ass handed to you, and now you come back sounding like Ashton Kutcher on a TV sit-com. Get your weak ass outta here before I knock it out of your hands.

  13. AND Shapiro confirms AGAIN that magic is not the answer, that rats and mice are related, that HUMANS and CHIMPS are related, that gods are not respocnsible, that evolution is real, that evolution is NATURAL. JESUS you suck at this.

  14. Funny how you claimed Shapiro was right when you thought his work indicated magical purple unicorns designed the univers, and now you are calling him “wrong” when he directly addresses the idiocy you are proposing. Weakling.

  15. “As we apply new technologies, such as genome sequencing, our confidence becomes stronger in the relatedness of all existing life forms, including human beings.” JAmes Shapiro. This is in STARK CONTRAST to the Young Earth Creationist position.

  16. James Shapiro’s work is evidence that evolution is completely natural, and not guided by any supernatural beings, Not sure why you have such a hard time grasping this. Don’t worry. I’ll keep reminding you.And debunking you. You’ll either start coming up with factual arguments, or you’ll simply become an “also ran”.

  17. Common ancestry is not based on similarity. Common ancestry is confirmed by genetics. Mice and rats are related, GreenSlugg. No matter how you slice it, Young Earth Creationism is not fact based. Its a religious opinion that the facts confirm is FALSE.

  18. ” As we apply new technologies, such as genome sequencing, our confidence becomes stronger in the relatedness of all existing life forms, including human beings. In particular, our insights into the details of these relationships become ever more explicit. We can point to numerous specific features of primate genomes that are difficult to understand except as resulting from common ancestry between humans, apes, chimpanzees and other primates.” –James A Shapiro
