Echo Breakfast Sessions at the Proud Archivist

Wednesday mornings 8.30 – 10.00 am for five weeks, starting 15th April.

 

Get your morning off to a great start with coffee and an expert-led Echo workshop at the Proud Archivist, and it won’t cost you a bean (just an Echo or two).

Created with start-ups, small businesses and freelancers in mind, Echo Breakfast Sessions are breakfast-sized nuggets of expertise on essential topics – things like making the most of your social media presence, growing your email marketing reach and pitching to investors –  all designed to equip you with expert knowledge and practical, actionable strategies for your business.

  • Social Media School #1 – Twitter: 15th April


Find out how to build your social presence and use Twitter to drive the actions you want, whether it’s revenue, visits, engagement or awareness. You’ll leave with loads of useful tips and an actionable Twitter strategy for your business.

  • Social Media School #2 – LinkedIn: 22nd April


Lost with LinkedIn? In this workshop, we’ll explore how to use LinkedIn to establish your personal brand, promote your business and make those key connections. We’ll focus primarily on your personal LinkedIn account, but we’ll also touch on business pages.

You’ll leave with lots of useful tips for making the most of the platform, and actionable next steps for creating a top-notch profile.

  • Get going with email marketing: 29th April


Find out how to drive engagement quickly, effectively and for free, using email marketing tool, Mailchimp.

This breakfast session will be a whistle-stop tour of email marketing, enabling you to define your purpose and target markets, create a strategy and get a quick overview of how to get the most from Mailchimp’s functionality (designing simple templates, putting together campaigns and tracking your progress with simple analytics).

You’ll leave with a clear road-map of where to go next with your email marketing, and tips and DIY guides to get going with Mailchimp yourself.

Sarah Henderson is a Connector at Echo. She’s an experienced Mailchimp trainer, and designs and delivers all of Echo’s email marketing content.

Everyone’s talking about content marketing. But what is it and how does it work? And how can you make the most of it as a small business?

In this workshop, we’ll cover…

–          Generating engaging and relevant content ideas

–          Planning your content and creating and maintaining a content calendar

–          Plotting our your content over different channels

–          Linking content to PR strategy

You’ll leave with new ideas and the tools to plot out an achievable content strategy for your business.

We'll look at structuring your pitch, getting your messaging right and ensuring you deliver compelling and memorable content to get the results you want.
