EEC Named One of 2013s Best Places to Work in Collections

(PRWEB) October 19, 2013

National judgment expert EEC has been recognized as one of the best places to work in collections in the US in a competition sponsored by InsideARM, a leading industry website.

EEC was named as one of the best places to work in the country in the sixth annual edition of this highly contested award. The survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the collections industry, benefiting the nation’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

“Of the many awards we’ve received recently this one means the most to us,” said Brian Boyle, Senior Partner of the firm. “We’ve worked very hard to make this a great place to work because having fully engaged employees just makes good business sense.”

A great working environment is part of the strategic plan of the firm. “It’s nice to have some of the perks we offer our employees like on-site yoga and meditation sessions, cruises in the harbor and all that fun stuff but what it really comes down to is asking our employees to take a personal stake in the success of the firm,” Boyle said. “If the company does well, they do well. This award and the continued growth of the firm vindicates that policy.”

In addition to a progressive 401k program EEC offers a substantial bonus program open to all employees, not just collection personnel. The firm is located in first class Manhattan offices with expansive views of the harbor and Financial District and a private social center where “happy hours” and catered lunches are frequently held.

Companies from across the U.S. entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Collections. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.
