Entrepreneurial Leaders at Ft. Hood Military Transition Conference to Help Soldiers Launch New Careers and Businesses

Fort Hood, TX (PRWEB) March 24, 2015

On Friday and Saturday of this week (March 27-28), entrepreneurial leaders from across the country will gather for a Military Transition Conference in Fort Hood to help current and former military service members and their families launch new businesses and find rewarding careers. Although data released last week showed unemployment rates for post 9/11 veterans are improving, the rates are unfortunately still 50% higher than the national average. With that in mind, American Dream U and Fort Hood are hosting this free event to ensure that those who have sacrificed to serve have the tools they need to thrive within the workforce.

Veterans make exceptional business owners, says Phil Randazzo, Founder of American Dream U, a nonprofit dedicated to helping military get the education and access to resources they need to find their dream job or start a business. They have the work ethic, discipline and risk tolerance to make a real difference in the American economy. We are honored at American Dream U to be able to work with so many exceptional veterans and current Military members, helping them to unlock their inner potential.
