Fashion Group International (FGI) Kansas City hosts a panel discussion “Social Media – Building a Valuable Online Presence” presented by The Pitch and Adcuda. The event is from 6:00-8:00pm at Terrace on Grand (1520 Grand Boulevard Kansas City, MO 64108) and features local industry leaders in online marketing, social media, web design and advertising. Network with business professionals during the rooftop cocktail hour and participate in an interactive business discussion featuring Casey Copeland and Tom Jenkins of Adcuda, Adam Fichman of Lifted Logic, Jennifer Hermon of Suburban Catwalk and Melanie Knopke of Your Style Scout. The panel discussion is moderated by Kelly Cannon of KC Magazine. This event is open to the public and all ages; admittance is .00 for FGI members, .00 for non-members and .00 for students. Member and Non-Member tickets include two drink vouchers for the rooftop cocktail hour and passed appetizers.

The speakers for “Social Media – Building a Valuable Online Presence” possess vast knowledge in being seen online and will share their insight on this ever changing way to brand businesses. Casey Copeland, Adcuda Founder and President, founded his company with the sole intention of building the go-to online marketing firm in Kansas City. Tom Jenkins, VP of Technology at Adcuda, is a board member of the Social Media Club of Kansas City and has worked with such clients as the Kansas City Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City. Adam Fichman is the owner of Lifted Logic which specializes in corporate identity creation and branding, graphic design, print & web advertising, website creation, website content management and development and e-commerce solutions. Jennifer Hermon offers small business marketing and social media education and application through her company Suburban Catwalk (formerly Haute Weekly). Melanie Knopke is a veteran of the fashion industry turned local blogger who acknowledges the importance of social media in branding. The business panel will be moderated by Kelly Cannon, a public relations specialist and freelance writer for KC Magazine.
