Too often we meet with companies who have a great product with massive market opportunity, but they have no idea how to raise money from sophisticated investors who ask hard questions about valuation, customer and investor traction, competitive differentiation, the business model, the qualifications of the team to execute, and on and on. This boot camp will give you the skills AND materials to identify, connect with and entice investors, and give you a substantial leg up in the fundraising game.   WHAT WILL I LEARN? Our team of experts will get in the trenches with you for two full-days, tightening your pitch, strengthening your executive summary, and your fundraising presentation, and help with inputs on identifying target funding sources. At the end of the workshop, we’ll bring in a panel of seasoned investors and industry experts  to review your pitches. Finally, every participant will leave with a highly polished, investor ready 1) Pitch Deck, 2) Executive Summary, 3) fundraising plan, and 4) communication strategy for connecting with your investor and other key strategic prospects to maintain the momentum you need in the fundraising marketplace.   CAN I BRING MY CO-FOUNDER OR  BOARD MEMBER? Yes, every startup can bring one co-founder, or decision maker (e.g. advisor, board member, CTO) for no additional fee.   WHAT IF I NEED HELP AFTER THE BOOTCAMP? All participants will receive 4-weeks of direct support via email from our team, to help guide your pitch revisions, and adjust your targeting. And when your stuff is “investor-ready” we’ll get you into one of our invite-only, private investor GT Capital Network events for a two minute pitch for no charge. We’ve also assembled a team of professional services providers who specialize in start-up essential topics who will be on hand to answer all of your questions on technology outsourcing, marketing strategies, trends in valuation, public relations, business formation, intellectual property and a host of other vital topics.   WHO’S THIS FOR? Startups who have survived the “friends and family” round of fundraising and are now about to (or have been) on the past to raise capital from angel investors, seed VCs or alternative sources of funding. You’ll likely have an executive summary and pitch deck, and may even have a few dozen / hundred / thousand users.   WHO’S THIS NOT FOR? If you are in the early idea, bootstrapping mode with your startup, then you should sign-up for a membership with Chicostart or the equivalent in your city (email for assistance with this.
