    Ray needs new glasses

  2. scotty3861 says:

bullshit! like all technology,it will start off expensive, but will come down in price. is it only the rich who have smart phones? no. ray has mentioned this countless times!

  3. scotty3861 says:

why 20 years later? this is gonna happen in 20-30 years. ray has a 30 year track record of accurate predictions, and has always happened on time!

  4. BallaholicNo10in89 says:

I bet Kurzweil and Somers wish they were born 20 years later.

  5. bighands69 says:

In mathematics and geometry there is the potential for infinite dimensions as long as there is the computational power and energy to do so. There may be no need for sleep if I could stay awake with out sleep I would do so as there is so much to learn and experience in life.

  6. bighands69 says:

Artificial cells are a move in this direction and Craig Venter has done this already. The next stage will be inorganic cells. Nano-technology will creep up on people before they realize that it actually exists. People will only realize this when there is product on the market that have nanotechnology with in them.

  7. Josh Alfred says:

It would be interesting to create living cells that are mechanical-like and can reproduce themselves. I say, possible.

  8. ortegablue says:

Like 2045 dot com? That is interesting… Maybe we don’t need ANYTHING as a vehicle for our minds and memories…memories can be designed and implanted…maybe we turn into orbs of light & conscious when we die…no one really knows what the future holds (exactly, IMHO) Don’t forget all the dimensions that exist (14?) we haven’t accessed and experienced those yet (that I know of) the future will be interesting…I wonder how sleep and the dream world fits in to all this…?

  9. ashley leap says:

And to add on to that, therefor we won’t need to worry too much about resources. This is actually my field of study, as a bio-engineer, how can we reprogram the software of our bodies to not have to use depleting resources to survive.

  10. ashley leap says:

We won’t have physical bodies in the extended future. We will be living in virtual reality. We will have multiple bodies, and take on different forms. What will live on from the human race will be our minds and memories.

  11. geppegep says:

People need to see this, so that people can get inspired and see past those fucking fearmongerers

  12. geppegep says:

yup, theres nothing really unatural about living long, we are just pushing the boundaries, it wont change what really matters in life, just enhancing

  13. wtf66611 says:

What happened to Suzannes’s show ??? Is she on hiatus ?? Her last Breakthrough show was in March.

  14. ortegablue says:

Just as genes can be turned on for life extension, they can be turned off for elimination. And, think about it, a lot of people taking up space and resources on earth, are not wanted. Since when do leaders care about humans? 60 million people died in WWII, mostly civilians. Also, plenty of people are suffering right now with nanobots & nanowires they have ingested or breathed in through the air. What about when the plans go wrong? Seems to me, about a million Pandora’s Boxes have been opened….

  15. Mike Mandela says:

Funny I just posted something similar on my Facebook wall.

  16. MarkOates2 says:

Look at RayK flirtin’ it up 😀

  17. HogbergPhotography says:

OMG, she has had one of the most exctensive facial surgery I have ever seen, and to much botox at that.. BUT, I believe in every word Ray says, I KNOW this will happen. If you dont see the potential from the speed of how the nanotech and biotech races forward, you must be retarded. Technology research has gone from crawling to running in the last 20 years, and it does not show any sign of slowing down.. So, hold on to your hats, we are living in exciting times!

  18. cosmicroyal77 says:

I totally believe this could happen in the future. I notice that science seems to follow the trends in science fiction many years later, there’s been a pattern I’ve seen, especially with nanotechnology. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised.

  19. Carrie581 says:

Too bad that we do not use our power for good. We will use our inovation to build bigger and better ways to kill other people before we will try to help our brothers. They will probably blow us up before they ever get a chance to do something positve with technology.

  20. Paula M. Schmitz says:

    Great vision!

  21. Velibor Jovanovic Gavrilovic says:

I would like to have realistic virtual reality – that would save a lot of effort. You could find yourself owning Lamborghinis & palaces and dating supermodels, without having to earn the actual money prior to that. All of those riches are generated for free, just like those countless gun racks in the movie Matrix 1. Or, you could do audacious and life-threatening stuff, because it’s only a game. Yet it will feel *exactly* like this life, because of the high resolution of the virtual reality.

  22. Velibor Jovanovic Gavrilovic says:

I hate these backward types that oppose progress… Probably some douchebag 5000 years ago said: “I wouldn’t want to live past 30.” Well, if you oppose the evolutionary process you will be removed.
