Dan Goodswen, Strategist, WeAreSocial
Monday, March 18th from 6:30 – 8.00 pm

The utility of Facebook should never be underestimated. Whether you need to fine tune your skills or keep up with Facebook’s ever changing algorithm, you will need to ensure stay on top of this beast.

With over a billion global users and nearly 6 million active brands, Facebook is an amazing platform for; engaging with customers, generating leads, managing customer service, launching products, driving traffic to websites and amplifying brand messages. Understanding what Facebook users want to read and which content is preferred by EdgeRank – the algorithm that governs what is displayed in a user’s feed – is necessary to succeed. Engaging with Facebook communities comes with it’s own unique social norms which can be hard to spot for the uninitiated user.

After this class you will be able to step seamlessly into these communities in order to deliver the tailored response that Facebook facilitates so well.

In this 90 minute class students will learn:

  • What content works well on Facebook
  • Developing a content strategy
  • How to grow your community
  • How to build engagement
  • The marketing products you should be using
  • Preventing a social media crisis
  • Measuring your success
