  1. In my opinion the Nexus 6 destroyed the Nexus concept. The Nexus 5 was the flagship killer, the pure, smooth stock android experience, with a good price. The Nexus 6 is just your typical flagship. Very disappointing.

  2. Anyone else want Sony to be the next Nexus manufacturer for their tablets and Phones? They are one of the only companies that have phones better looking than iPhones.

  3. lol, they’re not forcing anyone. There are plenty of other manufacturers making phones, you don’t have to get a Nexus. I know some people. including me, have ditched Nexus devices when Google made them this big, but, as I said, there are plenty of other OEMs to choose from.

  4. Nexus 5 already had good specs, and was plenty powerful for the price. It should be kept as an alternative to the gigantic Nexus 6, just like Apple kept iPhone 5s as an alternative to the newer 6 and 6s. Bad move Google. :/

  5. Everyone hates big phones and then again, everyone buys them in the end. Remember when 3.5 inch phone was enough, look what you are holding right now and see how much size of your phone has increased. Even Apple was forced to launch bigger iphones.

  6. Forget the Nexuses; buy a OnePlus One. Much better specs (than Nexus 4 & 5), Cyanogenmod 11s (Stock Android *on steroids*) and best of all: an absolutely unbeatable price.

  7. Bad move El Goog. The Nexus 6’s size is too polarizing and will not achieve high sales volumes. One can only hope that the current Nexus 5 would be refreshed with a newer version. We’ll see…or not. .

  8. So my Nexus 5 is one of the last… They better make the nexus 7 (Nexus x is a better name) – 5.2 inch QHD display – SD card slot – 16mp dual flash camera – 5mp front camera – 4500mah batter – HTC – BoomSound Speakers – waterproof – Anything else?

  9. If you wanted a Nexus 5 you’ve had over a year to get it. I don’t expect any phone manufacturer to keep producing a product after a year especially when there’s a replacement. And Google isn’t forcing you to get a Nexus 6 there are plenty of other Android phones on the market.

  10. Every company except for Sony forces you to buy a 5 inch display phone, which is not manageable for some people. Google expects you to buy a 6 inch display instead. It’s seems like 5 inches will become obsolete in the next 2-3 years.

  11. The perfect phone : Snapdragon 805 2.7ghz Adreno 420 gpu Unibody aliminum build Boomsound Ip67 waterproof/dustproof saphire display 15 megapixels camera with OIS and 4k recording 4 megapixels camera with 1080p recording and video HDR 5.0 2000×1200 display 3300mah battery 128gb storage without sd card a price tag less than 630$

  12. No one is forcing anyone to get Nexus 6, but as i mentioned numerous times before, Nexus 6 not only its too big for a lot of people, but its extremely overpriced starting at $750 + tax + delivery. That’s an extreme for a minimalistic design and expected specs. Nothing is so mind blowing about nexus 6 and its worth half of the money Google is trying to charge for it.

  13. I think it’s a mistake, the Nexus 6 is INSANE, 6 inch phone is huge. The company doesn’t care about consumers anymore, even Apple! I personally LOVE the iPhone 6, even the 5,5″, but my friend HATES the 6 plus, he wants a new phone with TOP SPECS but with 4 inch display, why not do that!? Nowadays if you have small hands, you have to buy a big phone. DAMN IT!

  14. Why is this unusual and a complaint? All manufacturers EOL a phone. The Nexus 5 had a good run and all runs come to an end. It is technology. Though the Nexus 5 is a good mid tier phone. Nexus 6 is a good high end phone. Both phones are not for everyone. What is everyone crying about?
