  1. I find it very irresponsible of John, to suggest you buy the LG G2 based on price..If you’re on contract yes I understand that ok maybe that’ll work, but saying that it will cost you less than buying an N5 outright is false. It will cost you less upfront but the reality is you’ll be paying for that G2 for the next two years..not to mention the additional fees carriers attach to the contract.

  2. It’s only natural to compare the Google Nexus 5 & LG G2, especially when they’re similarly spec’d. Honestly, I can go either way, so it all hinges if you’re going towards the contract route or not.

  3. I find it so strange that people call Android complicated but whenever I use my sisters iPhone, fie the life of me, it takes about 10 minutes to adjust to the iPhone and it not having a persistent back button on the bottom of the screen lol.

  4. I’ll take my g2 all day long literary! The battery is a beast. Only reason i’d take n5 is if I wasn’t on contract. But g2 better camera, call quality, battery life & customization. Plus it’s on the nation’s best network Verizon!

  5. 11:06 PhoneArena, 3rd grade reviewer. You’re not Jon Rettinger No SBS comparing.. And STOP TALKING on that part, sound like a persistent sales guy who don’t know when to stop and let customer decide.

  6. both good phones.. can’t choose.. i use w’app, twitter facebook and mail all day.. but i really need a good battery.. playing games is also a + but both are fast.. i can get a contract with same price..wich is better to get?

  7. Technically, two screens of the same resolution produce the exact same amount of details when fed the same source. Why someone who’s job it is to report on technology that involves screen technology doesn’t understand this, I don’t know.

  8. Well the retail price of the nexus is less than the g2 but if you are on a contract carrier then the g2 is cheaper. If u use a mvno carrier then the nexus is cheaper. Carriers do not charge more for their plans or hide fees just because your on contract.

  9. I have tried the LG g2 super device! but I have also become a big fan of stock android. just a No-nonsense-ready-to-do-the-job interface. eventough LG has one of the better an simple android interfaces. I think it dependse what you want to use the phone for.

  10. G 2 this g2 that man it’s a beast. Definetly better than nexus which is still a wicked phone. Custom ROM on my g2 overclocked to 2.7 GHz with all lg bloatware removed.combine with a massive 3000 may battery and 13mp ois cam? I’ll taKe 12 please

  11. the G2 is LG responding to the succes of the Samsung Galaxy line, most of it is almost directly copied. The nexus though is how android should be, when your talking android vs ios and the apple fan will tell you android is too complicated, phones like the G2 is why.
