Kiril Kulish, winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical, has joined the cast of the indie film “Rivers of Milk and Honey”, currently shooting in Los Angeles.
A coming of age tale that juxtaposes USSR during the Cold War with Los Angeles during the 2008 stock market crash, “Rivers of Milk and Honey” is a drama that traverses significant moments in the life of a successful Russian-American businessman whilst he juggles impending economic devastation and the failing health of his father.
Rudolf Martin plays the lead character, Andrei. Martin currently has a recurring role on Tom Fontanas Borgia for Netflix. Recent guest leads hes done include The Mentalist, Mad Men, Dexter and Nikita; his feature credits include Swordfish, Dark Prince, and the award winning independent film PIG. Martin is represented by Mary Erickson Management.
Playing Andreis mother is Marina Sirtis, of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame. Sirtis is currently portraying Mossad Director Orli Elbaz on CBS NCIS. She is repped by Jerry Silverhardt of Silverhardt Entertainment and her publicity is handled by Steve Rohr at Lexicon Public Relations.
Kulish, who won the prestigious award for Billy Elliot the Musical, portrays the Young Andrei. He is repped by Nicole St. John of Elev8 Talent Agency.
Rounding out the main cast are Alex Veadov (We Own the Night, Act of Valor, with Gary Ousdahl and Daniel Costanzo of Advanced Management), Teri Reeves (Chicago Fire, “Battleground”, with SDB Partners and New Wave Entertainent), Isidora Goreshta (Shameless, with Paradigm and Treadwell Entertainment) and Stephanie Kramer (Hunter, repped by BRS Agency and Teitelbaum Artists).
