Know And Tell: Creating stereoscopic GIFs in Photoshop (aka Wigglegrams)

Know And Tell: Creating stereoscopic GIFs in Photoshop (aka Wigglegrams)
Event on 2014-08-20 19:30:00

3D without glasses? That's what this class is all about! Wigglegrams are animated images of two or more frames that are animated in a way that conveys depth. In this workshop we'll show you how to use any stereoscopic images (from the web or from your own 3D camera) and animate them in Photoshop into GIFs that can be played in any browser. We'll cover the easiest way to align your images, Photoshop's animation timeline, and my favorite techniques for getting the best quality with the smallest file size.

Space is limited so all attendees must RSVP and bring their own device pre-loaded with a recent copy of Photoshop. The door helps cover the use of the space. I'll send out a few workshop files the day before the class, so be sure to sign up early. Know and Tell is a weekly series of creative workshops taught by Doctor Popular throughout the month of August at the amazing Secret Alley near 16th and Mission.
