Local Hypnotist Stephanie Conkle Offers Free Group Sessions as Part of Mental Health Awareness Week

Milton, GA (PRWEB) October 15, 2012

MMI Press announced today that local hypnotist, Stephanie C. Conkle. C.Ht., of Clear Life Results Hypnotherapy, is offering free stress relief group sessions in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW), on a first come first serve basis, to promote mental health awareness. She will also teach self-hypnosis after the sessions to those participants who wish to continue to work on their own mental health.

So many of us are under enormous pressure with our work and our day-to-day lives, says Conkle. Stress is the underlying cause of many illnesses, bad habits, and compulsions; yet, many people still dont know that hypnosis can greatly reduce or completely eliminate stress and anxiety.

Conkle adds that stress relief is the first block that she removes when hypnotizing folks for almost any kind of presenting issue, from smoking cessation to weight loss, which make up the majority of her clients, although she has seen a great rise in clients needing anxiety relief since she opened her Milton practice back in 2009. She emphasizes that hypnosis can be used for more than just weight loss and smoking cessation, and should be used as a tool to alleviate fears, bad habits, pain (emotional and physical), and to build confidence, increase motivation, and feel energized or relaxed.

Hypnotherapy differs from stage hypnosis. It is a form of guided mediation that also embeds subtle commands, or suggestions, in the subconscious mind with full participation from the subject, the person being hypnotized. The hypnotherapist does not make the subject act silly and the subject is free to accept or reject any command given by the hypnotherapist.

When stress leaves, the house of cards fall, and symptoms scatter away, says Conkle. Participants may register at her website: http://www.ClearLifeResults.com. For those who do not live in the Greater Atlanta area she is offering a free relaxation mp3, which may also be downloaded from her website so that all can benefit from the therapeutic effects of hypnosis.

Conkle has served as a hypnosis practitioner for over 11 years. She is a professional Master Hypnotist and Certified Hypnotherapist. She is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is a member in Good Standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) certifying body. Conkle is the author of the book Happy Person, Happy Life: A Recipe for Happiness, which is scheduled for national release early next quarter. Christina Dean, president of MMI Press says, “We are proud to sponsor Stephanie because she is a fantastic hypnotherapist who really cares about people and is good at what she does. She just has that likability factor.”

World Mental Health day is officially observed on the tenth of October, globally. It was initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health in 1992 to promote mental health awareness, education, and advocacy and community outreach. It is observed by millions of people and is a part of Mental Health Awareness Week, established in 1990 by the U.S. Congress through the efforts of the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI).
