milk&more Win Gold at the DMA’s

milk&more and their digital marketing agency Tug won gold in the Best Use of Search, Natural and Paid category at the annual DMA Awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London. The award looks for the best use of search engine marketing in generating a direct response.

Tug were praised for implementing a search engine marketing campaign to drive online sales on the milk&more site, using integrated PPC (Pay Per Click), SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and link building. The campaign to build awareness was highly effective in driving consumers to register online.

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Awards celebrates the best in direct marketing, looking at the companies and agencies that demonstrate the power to innovate and educate, while enriching our culture and communities.

The DMA Awards saw 39 companies compete for gold in 35 award categories including the famous Grand Prix award. The judging panel looked for strategy, creativity and results as the key judging criteria, with large and small organisations competing for prizes.

Phil Nunn, from Draft FCB and one of the DMA judges, said: “This campaign really pushed the boundaries, taking a functional search strategy to another level. Not only did it demonstrate the full potential of what search can achieve, but it delivered depth within each aspect, driving some fantastic results.”
