Phil joins the Modmacro team with more than a decade of experience working on websites. In addition, he spent several years as a webmaster for a large gaming organization where he oversaw multiple web assets.
Phil has been working with us for more than a year as an independent contractor. Hes played an important role in several projects, so when a full-time position became available, he was the obvious choice, said Matt Smith, CEO of Modmacro. We are familiar with his work ethic, skillset and personality, so we knew it would be a seamless transition for him to go from a contractor to a full-time employee. Phils role will help to widen our development availability thus allowing us to deliver complex website projects that much faster.
Phils responsibilities have historically focused on custom development for WordPress themes, plugins and widgets. Moving forward, WordPress development will remain a major component of Phils responsibilities, but hell also be spending more time working with clients directly and helping to manage projects.
