Stamford, CT (PRWEB)
June 25, 2015
ONE World Sports, Americas Network for Global Sports, announced today an expansion of its distribution with three new affiliate partners including Duncan Cable, Kuhn Communications and Shenandoah Telecommunications (Shentel). These multiyear, multiplatform agreements will provide viewers in rural Maryland, select areas in Pennsylvania and Virginia, and parts of Vermont and West Virginia more than 3,000 hours annually of exclusive, world-class live sporting events.
These newest affiliations were enabled under ONE World Sports January 2015 agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC).
ONE World Sports is the premier TV destination for a variety of live global sports, said Randy Brown, ONE World Sports Executive Vice President, Distribution. The addition of Duncan Cable, Kuhn Communications and Shentel all members of the NCTC to ONE World Sports distribution portfolio reinforces the growing market throughout America for international sports viewership and the appeal of quality live sports programming.
Duncan Cable has been providing cable service to the Wilmington and West Dover, Vermont, areas since 1972. Kuhn Communications, Inc. is a locally operated cable/Internet/phone company, which has been in business for over 38 years. Shenandoah Telecommunications (Shentel), serving markets in rural Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia, helps connect rural residents to the wider world via its home phone, digital TV and high-speed Internet services.
