Fall Takes Off at a Gallop at Royal Salute Jubilee Cup, Labor Day Weekend

Greenwich, CT (PRWEB) August 31, 2012

Royal Salute celebrates the power and masculinity of the noble Sport of Kings and this weekends Labor Day polo spectacular will be no exception. At the opening polo match of the fall season White Birch captained by Peter Brant, one of Americas most successful polo teams, will face off against Bridgehampton Polo Club favorite Harry Winston captained by Nacho Figueras, in the inaugural high-goal Royal Salute Jubilee Cup at 3:30PM on Sunday 2nd September, Greenwich Polo Club, CT.

Open to the public, the United States Polo Association has sanctioned this match at 20 goal, making it one of the highest rated pro-am polo matches to be played anywhere in the USA in September. Peter Brants White Birch team, part of one of the top polo organizations in the world featuring Mariano Aguerre, has won every major high-goal polo tournament in the United States over the last 25 years. Meanwhile Bash Kazi’s Harry Winston team is a highly ranked Bridgehampton Polo Club favorite, featuring a star line up of top players including Matias Magrini and Nacho Figueras who has played regularly at Greenwich Polo Club over the years.

His Grace the Duke of Argyll will lead celebrations by throwing in the first ball to start the match. Later during the prize-giving a Scottish piper will add a twist to Labor Day weekend festivities by saluting the sportsmanship of the players and horses, in what Greenwich Polo Club predict will be one of the biggest matches of its season.

(Small Business GPS)

Replacing GROW's long time Minding Your Own Business course is the new Small Business Growth and Planning Series (Small Business GPS). Here is how it works.

Three clusters of three classes each will be offered quarterly. These three clusters are:

• Business Basics
o Strategic Planning
o Taxes and Legal (2 Sessions)

• Marketing Strategies

o Marketing 101
o Internet Marketing
o Branding & Personal Selling

• Financial Awareness
o Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Breakeven Analysis
o Financial Analysis 101
o Financing Options

• A final Wrap Up and Implementation Class

People can pick and choose any or all of the clusters. For example, someone may have a marketing background, so they may choose to only take the Business Basics and Financial Awareness Clusters.

Note: people can pick and choose only clusters, not classes. Registrants need to take all three classes in a cluster. A cluster costs and consists of 3 classes.

Small Business GPS is designed to provide participants the information and resources to write a business plan. Someone taking all three clusters and the final Wrap Up and Implementation class will be able to write a business plan.

Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Nicole at GROW, (616) 458-3404.
