California Leadership Institute and Mentoring Bridges (CLIMB), a non-profit organization, Spanish Media Consultants and National Association of Hispanic Journalists are proud to present the annual Spanish Language & Media Conference Palabras May­ores-Los Angeles.

Palabras Mayores is a group of linguistic experts, who specialize in Spanish media communications. This highly acclaimed group from Spain and Mexico will soon share their expertise and knowledge at a two-day conference of intensive workshops and a “Welcome Reception” to be held at the Los Angeles event on June 21-22, 2013.

This conference will give Spanish communications leaders, including journalists, writers, editors, teachers, translators, designers and public relations personnel the tools they need to effectively communicate their messages to the Spanish-speaking public.

Topics to be covered:

  • Tools to polish the language
  • Studying the conventional spelling system of the language
  • Copy editing tips and tricks
  • How to write documents so people want to read them
