People Helping People Helps Hurricane Sandy Victims

Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded, causing particularly severe damage in New York. People Helping People is a grassroots effort, created by Susan Caldwell of Applaud Women, to get much needed items to some of the hardest hit areas of New York. With Susans vision to directly assist the victims still without many of the essentials, People Helping People was formed.

Kathy Spencer of How to Shop For Free and Alyssa Kevlahan jumped on board to assist with coordination. With the help of friends, colleagues, family and strangers volunteering, People Helping People quickly grew into something bigger than Susan ever imagined.

Made up of donors, collectors and transporters, ALL volunteers, People Helping People is currently accepting the following items for donation:
