Thirsty for knowledge? Wouldn't it be amazing if you could sit in a pub whilst listening to the most incredible scientists explain their recent discoveries?

Well, Pint of Science is a new and jolly three day science festival for the general public being held in different pubs across London, Cambridge and Oxford.

We are delighted that top researchers from UCL will be talking about their exciting work on: Viruses! Nothing to be afraid of (14th May), My very own genes – what can personal genomics do for me? (15th May) and Illuminating radiotherapy (16th May) on different days in The Lamb pub in Bloomsbury.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is a new and jolly science festival held in pubs for over 18s only. If you are under 25, or lucky enough to look younger than 25, valid ID may be required by the bar staff if you purchase or consume alcohol. Only food and drink purchased at the venue may be consumed during the event.


Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket up to the start of the event.


Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you can update your ticket information at any point up to the start of the event.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can choose whether you gain entry by showing a print out of your ticket or by showing it on the screen of your mobile phone, tablet etc.


The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

It’s fine, as long as the ticket is valid for the event you turn up to.
