Neil was confused as to why his Quality Scores were better for words that did not appear on his landing page than it was for words that did! Was Google obeying its own rules of relevancy? The key misunderstanding as Mike points out in this video is that Landing Page quality is merely a pass or fail criteria. It does not specifically affect the score awarded other than to cause Quality Score to be 1 or 2 if the landing page fails the Adwords criteria.
