Nimble Apps Limited, developer of online sales analysis and forecasting application SalesClic has today announced its new Confidence Levels feature to estimate the accuracy of sales forecasts in real time.
Confidence Levels will tell SalesClic users how much they can trust their sales forecast, based on their past sales and forecasting performance, their existing sales pipeline and the point they are at in the quarter. Traditionally, future revenues are estimated manually and infrequently, resulting in regular forecasting mistakes. The new feature will provide unparalleled visibility into the sales pipeline.
For SalesClic for Salesforce users, Confidence Levels will apply both to SalesClics proprietary data-based forecasts and to Salesforces weighted pipeline and forecast categories, adding further value to the Salesforce platform.
Forecast accuracy is always relative and depends on timing, said Thomas Oriol, CEO of Nimble Apps. Its much harder to predict revenue forecasts 80 days before the end of the quarter than it is 10 days before. Sales teams need a clear and concise view into their revenue forecasts at any time and Confidence Levels will provide clarity that has not been available before.
