Save Energy Systems Selected by Village Capital/VentureWell Peers for $50,000 Capital Investment

Save Energy Systems, Inc. today announced that it was awarded $ 50,000 of investment capital in the Village Capital/VentureWell accelerator program that culminated during the SOCAP:Soul (social capital) event at MIT on March 9, 2013.

The intensive peer-based Village Capital/VentureWell Boston program began November 29, 2012 at Greentown Labs in Boston. The program included entrepreneurs from around the world, all of whom were energy or social service based, and included expert coaching on how to build investment ready companies, develop a network of investors and strategic partners that can help scale innovations. At the end of the program, Save Energy Systems was selected as one of two start-ups to each receive a $ 50,000 convertible note investment, based on the decisions of participating entrepreneurs.
