SearchForce, a provider of innovative performance-based technology for managing paid search and social media campaigns, announced major enhancements to its bid management platform, which includes a proprietary mobile bid optimizer in support of Google Enhanced Campaigns.
While all platform providers need to integrate with APIs and comply with required functionality based on Enhanced Campaigns, there seems to be a general lack of consideration towards the impact of this change on existing optimization models, according to SearchForce CTO Santhosh Nair.
The issue isnt simply one of campaign management. Given the reduced control in platform targeting separation, algorithms now need to be device aware while optimizing keyword bids and simultaneously fine tuning multipliers to maximize the ROI on mobile platforms, Nair said.
